SMS Alerts
SMS alerts are a Pro plan feature that sends you an immediate text message when something critical happens โ ROAS collapses or spend exceeds your limit. No daily reports by SMS โ only urgent alerts.
Pro plan required
SMS alerts are only available on the Pro plan. Starter plan merchants receive email and Slack reports but not SMS.
What you get
Critical ROAS alert
SMS sent when ROAS falls below your low-ROAS threshold. Catch a collapsing campaign instantly, not the next morning.
High spend warning
SMS sent when your daily ad spend exceeds the high-spend limit you configured in Settings.
Immediate delivery
Sent at the same time as your daily report, not with a separate check interval โ arrives within seconds.
10 SMS/month included
The Pro plan includes up to 10 SMS alerts per calendar month. Counter resets on the 1st of each month.
International numbers
Works with any phone number in E.164 format โ UK, US, Ukraine, Germany, and most countries worldwide.
Only when critical
Marketing Pulse never sends you daily reports by SMS. You only receive a text when an alert threshold is breached.

What triggers an SMS
ROAS below threshold
Yesterday's ROAS < your Low ROAS Threshold (default: 1.5ร)

High daily spend
Total daily spend > your High Spend Warning amount (if configured)
Spend $1,240 vs limit $1,000 โ SMS sent
Configure your thresholds in Settings โ Alert thresholds. High Spend Warning is optional โ leave it blank to disable.
How to set up SMS alerts
Upgrade to Pro
SMS alerts require the Pro plan. Click the Billing tab in Marketing Pulse and select Pro to upgrade.
Open Settings
Click the Settings tab. Scroll to the SMS alerts (Pro) section.
Enable SMS alerts
Toggle on Enable SMS alerts.
Enter your phone number in E.164 format
Enter your phone number in E.164 international format: a + sign followed by your country code and number, no spaces or dashes.

Save settings
Click Save settings. SMS alerts will now be sent alongside your next daily report when a critical alert is triggered.
Done. You will receive an SMS the next time ROAS drops below your threshold or spend exceeds your limit.
Monthly SMS limit
The Pro plan includes 10 SMS per calendar month. The counter resets on the 1st of each month.
If the limit is reached, SMS delivery is paused for the rest of the month. Email and Slack reports continue unaffected.
Most merchants use 0โ3 SMS per month โ alerts only fire when something unusual happens. If you regularly hit the limit, check whether your thresholds are too aggressive.
Frequently asked questions
Which countries are supported for SMS?
Twilio (our SMS provider) supports most countries worldwide. If delivery fails for your number, contact support and we will verify coverage for your region.
Can I add multiple phone numbers?
Currently one phone number per shop is supported. Contact support if you need multi-recipient SMS โ we are evaluating this for a future release.
Will I get an SMS every day?
No โ SMS is only sent when a critical alert threshold is breached. On healthy days (ROAS above threshold, spend within limits), no SMS is sent.
I upgraded to Pro but SMS is still not enabled.
Make sure you have toggled on 'Enable SMS alerts' in Settings and saved your phone number. The Pro subscription alone does not auto-enable SMS.
How do I disable SMS alerts?
Go to Settings โ SMS alerts and toggle off 'Enable SMS alerts'. Click Save settings. SMS will stop immediately.
